My name really is hard for non-native speakers

Imagine, you’re not a native Dutch speaker and you come across someone named “Gijs”. How on earth do you pronounce that? Well, for reasons which will currently remain a small mystery (but will likely be cleared up later) I have a demo version of JAWS, a screenreader by Freedom Scientific, installed. So now I can give you:

Yup, it’s hard alright!

    Jo visst är det svårt att uttala…på svenska skulle det låta som ‘gais’…..jätteroligt :)

    hey dude, I’m facing some newbie difficulties with chatzilla:

    1) How do i hightlight an user messages, making it diferent from others in channel chat (using chatzila 0986) ?
    2) How do i start a private message without sending an automatic “how is” to the person? that is bothering

    It’s a lovely name x3
    But say someone can’t pronounce it completely; would you be offended? O_o or would you let them call you something else? I guess that would just be them being lazy though lol
